SNORRI STURLUSON // DIRECTOR & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Snorri Sturluson is an Icelandic director and photographer that has lived and worked in New York since 2001. The Empty Street is his first foray into narrative fiction after years of directing high profile advertising campaigns for blue chip clients from all over the world. His advertising and music video work has garnered him and his collaborators multiple awards and accolades and been featured at some of the biggest TV events in advertising such as the Super Bowl and the Oscars. As a director Snorri is known for his visual and technical vision as he finds unexpected ways to tell stories. Snorri resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two sons.
KOHL SUDDUTH // WRITER & PRODUCER
As an actor, Kohl has appeared regularly in film, on TV, and on the stage. Film experience includes the following: Illuminata, 54, Rounders, Bowfinger, Road Trip, Table One, The Banger Sisters, The Notorious Bettie Paige, True Story, Fall To Rise. TV includes guest starring roles on Sex and the City, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Blue Bloods. He also appeared in the PBS/Masterpiece Theater film Cora Unashamed. He played regular roles on the TV series Grosse Pointe and in several Jesse Stone movies of the week on CBS. In theater, he starred in Radiance at the LAByrinth Theater Company. He also originated roles in Richard Greenberg’s Take Me Out and Stephen Adly Guirgis’s The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. He is a first time screenwriter and producer. He is a member of the LAByrinth Theater Company.
ROD LAMBORN // CINEMATOGRAPHER
Rod Lamborn spent his formative years in war zones shooting documentaries where he developed his effortless style of transitioning between handheld and locked down shots making his work at all times spontaneous and intimately responsive to the narrative. His narrative work includes: Shoot Me, Love, Etc. (additional camera), Sunshine Superman (additional camera), and The New Black Yoga. Lamborn has shot music videos for U2 and commercials for Nike, Adidas and Victoria’s Secret to name a few. He has a degree in film from Brigham Young University in Utah and resides in New York City.
DAVE SHELLEY // PRODUCER
Dave Shelley has produced, managed and toured everything from stadium shows (Bruce Springsteen, Eminem and The Rolling Stones) to Off Broadway theater, regional theater, and numerous special events such as The Tribeca Film Festival, The New York Photo Festival, World of Science Festival, and Matthew Barney’s work. As an actor Dave has toured internationally with the Wooster Group and appeared in numerous works for theater, film and television, most recently in Tyson Vs. Ali which was just listed by The Wall Street Journal as one of the top ten sports and arts moments of 2014. As a film producer Dave has produced short format films and commercials including Second City, Vagina Monologues, Detroit Red Wings, and Detroit Tigers. Dave is the co-creator of Photoville – New York City’s premier photo destination, which is a modular venue built from repurposed shipping containers, combining photo exhibitions, outdoor photo installations, talks, workshops, and night-time multimedia projections produced by his company United Photo Industries.
